This is a Canadian-built Lee-Enfield rifle no.4 mk1* in very good authentic condition, built at the Long Branch factory and dated 1943 on the left hand side of the breech. This example has super original replacement furniture, in excellent condition as you'd expect, and equally good metalwork retaining 99% of it's original finish. Fitted with the correct mid-war ladder sights, correct alloy butt-plate, and detachable 10 round magazine, this rifle cocks, dry-fires and is fully strippable, and comes complete with original webbing sling. The inert .303 ammunition shown is not included, but is available in the 'Inert Ammunition' section at £1.50 per round, post free if ordered with the rifle. No4 'spike' bayonets also available from £18. Deactivated with certificate in the UK to UK specification.
